5 Installation
5.1 Electrical connection
General information
• Check the grid characteristics against the
data indicated on the plate. The
identification plate bearing the technical
data, serial number and brand name is
visibly positioned inside the appliance.
Do not remove this plate for any reason.
• Make sure that the plug and socket are
of the same type.
• Avoid using adapters and shunts as
these could cause overheating and a risk
of burns.
• The plug must always be accessible
when the appliance is installed.
• Insert in the plug firmly into the power
outlet with the cable facing downwards.
If it faces upwards, the cable may be
subjected to stress, overheat and cause
a short-circuit and cause a fire or electric
shocks due to the heat generated.
• Insert the plug of the appliance into a
dedicated wall socket.
• The appliance can be connected to the
power outlet as soon it has been
installed.
• Wait for the appliance to cool down
properly before placing food in it. The
refrigerator takes approximately 4 hours
to cool completely and could take up to
24 hours when the room temperature is
high.
• If it is necessary to replace the power
cable,
this must be performed by an
authorised technician from Technical
Support Service.

compliance with electrical safety
standards.
• Do not pull the cable to remove the
plug.
