Cleaning and maintenance

Ice present in the freezer compartment:
•  The door is opened and closed too often

or is kept open for too long.

•  Make sure that the packaging of the

foods is not trapped between the door
and the door seal so as not to create a
gap when the door is closed.

•  Ice was produced using an ice tray

different to the one supplied with the
appliance.

•  There are many containers with water or

liquids present in the freezer
compartment. The liquids could
evaporate and turn into ice and settle on
the walls or parts of the freezer
compartment or around the air ducts.
Use a lid to prevent evaporation and the
formation of ice. Use a dry cloth to
remove any ice.

•  When the door is opened frequently or if

it is opened when the humidity around
the refrigerator is high, the moisture in the
air may turn into ice or frost on the inside
wall or parts of the freezer compartment
or around the air ducts. This is not a
defect.

Unpleasant odours inside the appliance:
•  Foods with strong odours have not been

packaged.

The refrigerator is noisy:
•  Make sure that the refrigerator has been

installed in a stable position.

•  The refrigerator is touching the wall.
•  A gurgling noise that resembles the

sound of flowing or boiling water is due
to the coolant in the refrigeration circuit.

•  A cracking sound coming from the

compartment is caused by the friction of
the parts due to the change in
temperature.

The control panel does not respond:
•  The “Child lock” mode has been

selected.

•  The door of the refrigeration

compartment is open.

•  You are wearing gloves or your hand is

in a cast or plaster. Touch the panel
directly with your fingers.

•  The control panel is wet or dirty.
•  Multiple buttons are being pressed at the

same time. Touch one button at a time.

The control panel is switched off:
•  Approximately 30 seconds after the end

of the operations, the LED indicator lights
turn off (except for the ECO and Dual
Fan mode LEDs). This is not a
malfunction.
