4.2 Device Connections to ProtoNode
ProtoNode 6 Pin Phoenix connector for RS-232 Devices

The 6 pin Phoenix connector is the same for ProtoNode FPC-N38 (BACnet) and FPC-N39
(LonWorks).

Pins 1 through 3 are for RS-232 devices.

Use standard grounding principles for RS-232 GND

Pins 4 through 6 are for power. Do not connect power until Section 4.5 .
