How can I configure my internet connection?
In order to configure your internet connection you will need some information from your
Internet Service Provider (ISP) or WAN Provider with details like connection type (PPPoE,
PPTP, L2TP, dynamic DHCP IP Address) and in some cases username, password, etc.
In the configuration example below, we have the SMCWBR14S-N4 router connected to a
modem with a PPPoE service:

Connection Type: PPPoE

username: adsluser

password: 1234
Enter the Internet Service Provider information as shown in the following picture. Go to the
submenu Network Settings/WAN and click Apply to save the WAN configuration you have
entered.
Once your internet/wan connection has been correctly configured you will be able to see what
is your connection status in the submenu Administration/System Status.
