Information of SNMP Agent

You can specify the basic information of SNMP agent as administrator, location, and ad-
dress that confirm its own identity.

To set the basic information of the SNMP agent, use the following command.

Command Mode

Description

snmp contact

NAME

Sets the name of the administrator.

snmp location

LOCATION

Sets the location of the SNMP agent.

snmp agent-address

A.B.C.D

Sets an IP address of the SNMP agent.

no snmp contact

no snmp location

no snmp agent-address

Global

Deletes the specified basic information for each item.

The following is an example of specifying basic information of SNMP agent.
