The figure below shows the location of the NVRAM Protection switch when troubleshooting a
SCDU displays Prot fault.

Fan Check
Verify fans are working if a blower motor (power bridge fan) is installed on a drive.
Verify Parameters
When the READY LED on the SCDU is lit, all the selectable parameter data needs to be checked
and/or verified to the proper values (see C4 Controller sheet 04 Drive and Motor) as follows:
• VERIFY OR CHANGE EACH PARAMETER VALUE for the particular application and motor
involved.
• STORE PARAMETERS, Function # 994, so that power can be removed and reapplied
without losing the entered parameters.
•
Set the NVRAM PROTECTION switch to the protect position (UN PROT NV RAM light is
off) to ensure that set up data cannot be corrupted.
• Run the controller to verify drive changes.
