Positioning:
The correct positioning of the model on the object holder is indispensible for correct measuring results.
The positioning must be maintained in respect to the
"height alignment"
.
Height alignment:
The scanner has a definite height measuring range. If the object to be measured is located outside this
range, no measuring values will be measured there. This means that the finished scan will exhibit holes
or have a cut-off effect.
The scanner has a height measuring range of +/-40 mm, in other words a total of 80 mm. The middle
of the measuring range is determined using the measuring range template. (See fig. 29)
We recommend positioning the preparation margin / tooth equator at the height of the cross to
capture the jaw models in its entirety.
