Courier

Code

1 Courier Code (Courier Code ID 90) can be provided to personnel filling/
emptying secured containers (CIT - Cash-In-Transit Services) without any
programmed Time Delays being of relevance.

Factory setting:

no code assigned

Functions:

Opening the lock (even alone in Dual Mode) by bypassing
Time Delay

Alteration of Courier Code

AS284-USBW or AS284-NETW Programming Software

The Courier Code can be defi ned as: „Courier does not Open but Skips Delay“.
Thereupon, entering the Courier Code for lock opening skips the Time Delay
for the next opening. The Confi rmation window count-down indicates for how
long this condition is given (opening procedure must start during count-down).

5.8.3 Shelve

Function

The shelve function is only available if the programming mode is accessed
with Master Code. With the shelve function you reset all codes, param-
eters and data (e.g Locking Periods, Time Delays etc.) to factory default
settings.

Audit Trail, opening counter and Time/Date settings remain unchanged.

Note!

After resetting the lock is in bank mode again, even if the lock has been acti-
vated in a one time code mode.

5.8.4

Duress

Code

If the lock is connected to an external alarm system, a silent duress alarm
(unnoticeable for the aggressor) can be initiated by the operator. The way
to trigger a duress alarm depends on the current operation mode.

5.8.4.1 Duress Code in bank mode

To trigger a duress alarm in bank mode, the

value 1 has to be added or

deducted to the last digit of the code as standard

. Duress alarms can be

initiated with all code types at any time.

Important

: with the Programming Software AS284-USBW or AS284-

NETW the format of the Duress Code can be modified and may differ
from the rule mentioned above.
