Installing Parts
Lay down blankets or use area of clean carpet to lay panels on to protect
finished surfaces. The main photo shows hardware installed into panels.
Details are provided to identify the parts. Use this photo diagram to locate
where parts go, prior to assembling the desk surfaces.
Plastic interlocks press into place, top inserts into the top, side inserts into
the sides and braces.
You may wish to assemble the floor glides and
wire grommets after you build the desk. You
should plan on placing all of the inserts and cam-
locks while panels are laid out on the floor.
Wire management strips install with adhesive
strips, but we recommend installing a number of
1/2” pan head wood screws to keep the strips
installed over time, as heavy loads of cable and
heat from nearby components tend to fatigue the
adhesive.
If power strips are to be installed to the modesty
panels, install them below the J Channels so they
won’t interfere with flipIT® Laptop Safe.
