System Overview

See the next figure for the location of the serial and assembly labels for this system.

Cooling

The Extreme Edge Server has seven identical fans on the inlet (right) side of the system.
The BMC monitors all fan tachometer readings, when fans are powered on, and at what

speed the fans run.

The BMC sets the fan speed based on sensor data within the system. For more information

see

Section 5.2.2.1.4, Aggregated Temperature Sensors on page 116
