10.2 EDID SELECTION
Press and hold the F1 button on the front of the 4K-8x8-L, 4 different EDID modes can be accessed via the
front panel using input buttons 2, 3, 4 and 5. The next four sections detail how to use each of these modes.
After an EDID command has been sent to the unit it is advised that the power is toggled OFF and ON using
the power switch above the IEC inlet.
10.2.1 READ EDID FROM LOCAL HDMI OUTPUTS
This function enables the reading of EDID from screens attached to the local HDMI outputs on the rear of the
4K-8x8-L. Press and hold the F1 button on the front of the 4K-8x8-L, then press input button 2. The LCD will
update to show EDID HDMI mode is selected, press the OK button on the front of the 4K-8x8-L to confirm.
The LCD will update ready to accept commands as shown below.
