ATTAChING LINES TO KITE
STEP 1
Remove your kite from the bag and
unroll it with the struts and intake valve
facing upwards. See page 19 for infor-
mation on inflation.
STEP 2
Flip the kite over with the leading edge
facing the wind and secure it by putting
a sand bag, or piling some sand or snow
on the kite’s canopy.
vISUAL BRIdLE ChECK
Before attaching your flying lines to your bridle do a simple visual bridle check. Grab
the rear line connection point of the bridle and stretch it back until it is taught. Make
sure there are no twists in the lines or bridle parts contacting the bridle. Now grab
the front line connection point of the bridle and stretch it back to assure there are no
tangles in the bridle (untangle the bridle if necessary). Once you are confident the
bridle lines are free of tangles, hold both line connection points in separate hands for
one last visual check. If there are no tangles you are ready to attach the flying lines.
