Blender:
Audible Alarm when Air &

supplies are connected.
1) Air/O

differential
pressure exceeds 30psi.
2) Jammed Alarm.
Ensure Air/ O
2
differential
pressure is less than 20psi.
Disconnect Air and O
2
supplies and reconnect. If
fault persists, replace
blender.
% O
2
exceeds ±3% 1) Digital O
2
reading
requires adjustment.
Check % O
2
with suitable
calibration reference.
Adjust digital readout as
appropriate. If fault
persists replace blender.
FIO
2
display does not
agree with blender setting
1) Check that both air and
O
2
are connected to the
correct supplies
2) Oxygen cell has drifted
3) Oxygen cell is faulty
Reconnect if necessary
Recalibrate oxygen cell
(see page 69)
Replace oxygen cell
Leak alarm:
Leak alarm when patient
circuit is connected. 1) No Air/ O
2
supply.
2) Excessive PIP
3) Leak in patient circuit
4) Fault in fresh gas supply
Connect supply gas as
appropriate.
Press “Reset” and adjust
PIP alarm threshold or PIP
regulator.
Check humidifier for leaks.
Check restrictor is in
correct position.
With reset button held in,
occlude fresh gas port. If
block alarm does not
replace leak alarm, contact
qualified Service Engineer.
Block Alarm:
Block alarm when patient
circuit is connected 1) Blockage in fresh gas
supply. Replace patient circuit
