The MESCAL4 is a completely new construction based on the knowledge of the devel-
opment of the CAYENNE4 and CHILI3. The MESCAL4 is a state of the art paraglider.
The Pilot has a partner during instruction with very appealing but also error-forgiving
handling. Pilots will learn how to fly safely while having fun. When the instruction period
is over, they will have a glider with which they can continue to collect flying experience
safely over the years, thanks to the pleasing handling and appealing performance.
The Pilot can prepare in the coming years for a higher classified glider like the Tequila,
or simply continue to fly the MESCAL4. The performance of a MESCAL4 today is above
the level of the intermediate of a few years ago. Thus, you can fly for hours in the ther-
mals as well as flying xc. The brake pressure is pleasing and yet the pilot will notice
that the pressure increases considerably before stall. Therefore, the pilot will recognize
when he leaves the safe range.
The MESCAL4 has 34 cells, 14 connection points per side. The last cell hangs from the
form in connection with the stabilo. It is equipped with a clever system of bands as well
as ballooning. The MESCAL4 additionally has Rigidfoil as nose reinforcement, replac-
ing the previously-used mylar. The skywalk RIGIDFOIL material is very robust and resist-
ant, yet is still flexible enough so that one is not required to handle it extremely careful-
ly. The ends of the wing are equipped with an opening to empty any dirt or sand parti-
cles collected while launching or landing.
