WHEEL RIMS AND SPOKES
1.Inspect the wheel rims(1)and spokes (2)for
damage.
2.Tighten any loose spokes and rim locks(3)
3.Check wheel rim runout. If runout is
noticeable, see your SKYTEAM dealer for
inspection.
Maintenance of spoke tension and wheel trueness
are critical to safe motorcycle cooperation.
During the first 150 km(100miles), spokes will
loosen more rapidly due to initial seating of parts.
Excessively loose spokes may result in high
speed instability and possible loss of control.

WHEEL REMOVAL
Front Wheel Removal
1.Raise the front wheel off the ground by placing
a support block under the engine.
2.Remove the front axle (1). The front wheel can
now be removed.
Installation Notes:
To install the front wheel assembly reverse
the removal procedure.
Be sure to tighten the axle nut to:
62 n.m(6.3kgf.m, 46ibf.ft)
Check front brake.
After installing the wheel, apply the brake
several times and then check if the wheel rotates
freely. Recheck the wheel if the brake drags or
if the wheel does not rotate freely.
