Mitre cuts
Remove the battery from the saw to avoid the risk of unintentional

Parallel guide
Sawing using a batten
Saw with the aid of a batten when the workpiece is too wide to use the parallel
guide.
To make parallel cuts with the aid of a batten, affix a piece of wood to the workpiece
using G-clamps or another suitable clamping device. Guide the saw by gently
pressing the base plate against the batten.
Fitting and adjusting the parallel
