WARNING
Before each use, inspect
the entire product for
damaged, missing, or loose parts, such as
screws, nuts, bolts, caps, etc.
Securely
tighten all fasteners and caps and do not
operate this product until all missing or
damaged parts are replaced.
APPLICATION
You may use this product to single cut or
gang cut 6X, 8X, 10X, and 12X beams,
parallel-strand lumber, glued-laminate timber,
laminated-veneer lumber, TJI I-joists, and
other large beams and lumber.
PREPARE SAW FOR USE (FIG. 7)
Attach the assist handle to the mount on the
left front side of the foot.
Check the tension of the saw chain: please refer
to the CHECK/ADJUST CHAIN TENSION.
Check the chain-oil tank level and add oil if
necessary; refer to FILLING CHAIN-OIL TANK
WITH CHAIN OIL.
CUTTING WITH THE CARPENTRY
CHAINSAW (FIG. 8)
Always hold the saw by the main handle with
one hand and the auxiliary handle with the
other hand. Maintain a firm grip and stable
footing.
Make sure that the material is properly
clamped and supported off the ground. Note
that the nose cap will need room to clear the
ground or any other obstacles.
Your carpentry saw is designed mainly for
cross cutting. Some specialized cuts may
require a short rip cut.
