Tighten lock nuts (some models only) and retaining screws.

TYPICAL

1. Retighten (so equipped models)
2. Retighten to 48 N•m (35 lbf•ft)



WARNING

If lock nuts are not tightened properly, the adjusting screws could
loosen causing the track to become extremely loose and, under
some operating conditions, allow the idler wheels to climb over
the track lugs forcing the track against the tunnel causing the
track to “lock”. Properly tighten wheel retaining screws, other-
wise wheel may come off and cause track to “lock”.
