STARTING PROCEDURE

• Re-check throttle control lever operation.

• Ensure that emergency cut-out switch is in the ON position.

• Ensure that tether cut-out cap is set in place and that cord is at-

tached to your clothing.

Initial Cold Starting

NOTE:

Do not operate the throttle lever during starting.

When Temperature Is Below - 10°C (+ 15°F)

Set the choke lever to the second position.

Grasp starter handle firmly and crank engine.

After the engine is started, close off choke to ensure proper air-fuel
mix when speed drops below 2000 RPM.

Set the choke lever to the first position.
