Teak In-floor Hatch (Option) Care

The teak hatch option provides additional ventilation to the in-floor storage compartment.

To keep your teak in top condition, clean it occasionally with a teak cleaner. A teak cleaner can usually be found
at your Skeeter Dealer. Treat it regularly or at least once a season. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and
warnings carefully as some cleaners and oils may damage your boat’s finish, vinyl and aluminum. Do not use
rust-producing steel wool pads when you are cleaning your teak.

NOTE

Teak sealers and cleaners can be harmful to other materials. Make sure you thoroughly remove any
spills or excess. Never varnish teak as the natural oils in teak will cause poor adhesion.

Optional Equipment

Your Skeeter boat may be equipped with many options which cannot all be covered in this manual. Make sure
you read and understand the optional equipment’s safety, use and maintenance literature provided by the manu-
facturer to maximize the benefits and uses these options have to offer. Contact your Skeeter Dealer for more
information or explanation.

Do not store rags used to clean or treat teak on your boat. Store or dispose of
rags properly ashore.
