Cut a piece of the tinned copper wire (bare, silver-coloured wire that looks
a bit like solder) about 5cm long and bend into a U-shape so it can be fed
through the middle holes in the switch pins and solder it in place

Cut the middle section of the wire out

and repeat for the other two pairs

of pins, so the you have six separate wires connected to each of the six
pins.
