Associating this machine with an iOS terminal using Bluetooth LE

[Web Management Tool]

This machine and the iOS terminal must be connected to the same wireless LAN environment.

The steps below must be executed near this machine.

Start

Mobile for iPhone/iPad

on the iOS terminal to display the screen that allows you to register a

device.

Display the list of devices compatible with Bluetooth LE communication, then select this machine.

Display the QR code on the screen of this machine to read the QR code with

Mobile for iPhone/iPad

For details on how to display the QR code, refer to page 16-28.

This starts a pairing with this machine, and registers this machine in

Mobile for iPhone/iPad

Connecting an iOS terminal to this machine via Remote Access using Blue-
tooth LE

The following describes how to connect an iOS terminal to this machine with

Remote Access

of the iOS ter-

minal using Bluetooth LE.

On this machine, allow a connection from an iOS terminal using

Remote Access

. For details, refer to

page 16-24.

Enable the wireless connection and Bluetooth LE for iOS terminal.

Configure a setting to support Bluetooth LE on this machine. For details, refer to page 16-31.

Configure a setting to support Bonjour on this machine (default: [OFF]). For details, refer to page 8-13.

Configure a setting to support SNMP on this machine (default: [ON]). For details, refer to page 14-13.

Start

Remote Access

on the iOS terminal.

Search for devices on the screen of the iOS terminal, then select this machine from the list of Bluetooth
LE devices displayed in the search result.

The terminal can be connected to this machine by operating
