BOILING WATER
1. Remove the jug from the base.
2. Open the jug’s lid.
3. Fill the jug with the required quantity of water, but never above the maximum water-
level mark (‘MAX’). Make sure that you do not spill any water on the base.
4. Close the jug’s lid. Press the lid until it clicks into place.
5. Place the jug on the base, and insert the plug in the wall socket.
6. Push the jug kettle’s On/Off switch downwards. The jug kettle’s indicator light will
illuminate to show that the appliance is switched on.
7. The jug kettle switches off automatically a few seconds after the water has come to
the boil. However, this automatic cut-out operates only when the jug’s lid is closed
securely. The jug kettle’s indicator light will extinguish once it switches off.
8. A further quantity of water can be boiled once the appliance has cooled down (this will
take a few minutes).
9. Remove the plug from the wall socket after use.
Brewing Tea and Keeping Tea Hot Warm
1. Remove the tea-filter and lifting the unit out of the glass cup.
2. Fill the filter with tea or tea bag, then put the filter into glass cup.
3. After the water boiled, fill in the glass cup within 30 Seconds then put on the lid. Please
note that water can not exceed the MAX level on the glass cup.
4. Turn on the on/off switch located on the base.
Brewing Coffee and Keeping Tea Hot Warm
1. Remove the filter and lifting the unit out of the glass cup.
2. Fill the filter with coffee, then put the filter into glass cup.
3. After the water boiled, fill in the glass cup within 30 Seconds then put on the lid. Please
note that water can not exceed the MAX level on the glass cup.
4. Turn on the switch located on the base.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
General
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket, and allow the appliance to cool.
2. Rinse the jug with fresh water after each use, and regularly clean the jug and base
with a damp cloth.
3. Remove the tea filter from the glass cup, and clean it using the customary manner for
glassware. You can wash the glass cup by hand; you can also clean it in a dishwasher.
4. Clean the teapot’s tea filter and lid with a soft washing-up brush and a few drops of
washing-up liquid. Rinse the filter thoroughly, and dry the filter and lid. You can also
clean the lid and the tea filter in a dishwasher.
5. If necessary, you can also leave the descaling filter to soak in a vinegar or lemon-juice
solution for a few hours.
