2 THE MENU SYSTEM

The menu is displayed on the right--hand side of the display. In

order to make an optimal use of the sonar for most types of

operation, three different menus may be selected (refer to

chapter 5.18.4).

The table below shows the contents of the main menu for the

different submenus, with reference to the chapter in which the

submenu is described.

The sonar is equipped with a battery memory that remembers

all selected menu settings even if the sonar is switched off.

The menu settings marked with an asterisk indicate the

normal settings which perform well under normal conditions.

If one has got lost in the menu settings, a STANDARD function

(see chapter 5.19) will bring up these normal settings.
