12 Mower Deck Repair

Arbor Repair

IDLER PULLEY REPAIR

Refer to Figures 1, 2, 4, and 5 for assembly diagrams.

1. Remove mower deck (see Mower Removal and

Installation).

2. Remove the nut and capscrew securing the idler pul-

ley to the clutch lever.

Note the location and quantity of spacers and wash-
ers above and below Idler when removing the cap-
screw. Also note the position of the belt guide.

3. Place the new Idler assembly on the clutch lever and

secure with the capscrew and nut. Make sure the the
correct quantity of washers/spacers are placed above
and below the pulley.

4. Align the belt guide to its original position so that the

guide is midway between the belt wrap around the
pulley.
