4.7. EQUIPMENT START-UP
Before starting up the griddle it is necessary to understand the front panel, as shown in the following figure:

Next proceed with start-up the equipment as described below:
1. Open the gas main.
2. On:
2.1. Press and turn the control to the big flame position for the burner.
2.2. Hold down the piezoelectric igniter.
2.3. Hold down the button for a few seconds.
2.4. Adjust the burner flame by placing the dial between the large and small flame positions.
3.Off: To turn the equipment OFF, simply turn the dial(s) to the off position.
4.To guarantee complete safety, it is recommended that the flow from the gas main be closed.
4.8. VERIFICATION OF EQUIPMENT OPERATION
Once the machine has been started up, its proper operation will be verified, always following the installation instructions of the
destination country.
It is the installer’s responsibility to perform these verifications in accordance with current standards.
The following verifications at least must be performed:
1.
Connection nozzle.
2.
Flame appearance.
3.
Position of reduced consumption.
4.
Safety devices.
5.
Watertightness.
6.
Power to the burners.
4.9. INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONVERSION TO DIFFERENT GASES
IMPORTANT:
The conversion of the equipment for different gases or supply pressures should be performed by personnel autho-
rized by the current standards of the destination country.
To use another type of gas supply, the injector located in the burners must be replaced.
The griddles can function with any type of gas of the community destination country. The delivery includes a set of injectors for
the gas of each destination country, with two for each type of gas.
To change the injector according to the gas to be used, the diameters of the injector must be considered.
To change the injectors in the burners, they should be accessed from the upper part of the equipment. The cooking griddle shall be
removed and the injectors are directly accessed.
Once gaining access, proceed to the replacement, removing the screw holding them.
Once the injector has been replaced, the air regulation hose is adjusted.The regulation hose A is fixed according to the instructions
provided on the device’s technical data sheet (4.10) for each type of gas.
