5.3. WELCOME SCREEN

Within the FPP there is a ‘Welcome Text’ field, which enables a welcome message to be
displayed on the screen when the radio is switched on. If the Welcome Text has been
defined, the radio will display the welcome message and radio ID for two seconds while
the radio initialises.

Note.

Use of a Welcome Text message will increases the power-on time by 2 seconds.

5.4. LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE KEYPAD

When the keypad is not in use it can be locked to prevent accidental keypad operation.
This is known as the KeyLock facility.
