Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING: any repairs to the
appliance must be carried out by
qualified technicians. Incorrect
repairs may put the user at
serious risk. If your appliance
needs any kind of repair, please
contact the support service.
WARNING: before performing any
maintenance work, ensure that
the appliance is not connected
to the electric power supply and
that there is no risk of this
accidentally happening. For all
maintenance
and
cleaning,
please disconnect the electric
power supply.
8.1
Resetting safety devices
The appliance is equipped with a safety
thermostat. This manual-reset device is
tripped by overtemperatures.
To reset the protective device:
Disconnect the appliance from the
electric power supply;
Remove any air ducts (see section 5.2);
Remove the top cover, first unscrewing
the screws holding it in place (Fig. 18);
Manually reset the safety thermostat
from above (Fig. 19). If the device is
tripped, the central pin on the
thermostat protrudes by approximately 4
mm.
Refit the top cover.

WARNING: the safety thermostat
may be triggered by a fault in the
control board or by a lack of
water in the tank.
WARNING:
Repairing
parts
present
for
safety
reasons
compromises safe operation of
the appliance. Only replace
defective parts with original
spares.
NOTE: if the thermostat is
triggered, the electrical resistor is
excluded, but the heat pump
can still run within the permitted
operating limits.
