8. STARTING AND USING INSTRUCTIONS.
8.1 POSITION OF THE MACHINE AND THE OPERATOR. PLUGGING AND UNPLUGGING.
The machine must be installed in a well illuminated, stable and flat surface, free from any obstacles.
Before starting-up the machine, make sure to have followed all the safety measures described in the previous
chapters (electrical connection, stability, protections, etc.).
Make sure that the machine is firmly set on a horizontal hard surface.
THIS MACHINE MUST NOT BE USED UNDER THE RAIN. WORK WITH IT ONLY IN WELL
ILLUMINATED AREAS.
To start cutting and once the material has been placed on the cutting cart, the operator should stand on the
left side next to the machine head steering handwheel. In this position, the operator can easily manage the cutting
head and the switch will always be accessible, with the possibility of activating the starter in case of danger.
Once the power supply cable is
connected, we proceed starting the
machine. For this we will act on the
machine starter (
S, Fig.5) following
these steps:
1º Select the " 0 " position of
the star-delta switch and
then power up the machine
by placing the switch in the
"
ON " position.
2º Select position Y of the
star-delta switch. The
water pump and motor
start.
3º When reaching its rated
speed, select the switch
position

Stopping is done by placing the
switch in the “ OFF ” position.
8.2 ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT.
The cutting head of the machine has been designed in
a way to raise it or lower it by loosening the lever ( D, Fig.6).
Lowering the cutting head too far down may damage the
sliding cart. To avoid this, the machine has an adjustable
buffer stop
(C, Fig.6) that limits the decline of the cutting head
so that the blade does not surpass the necessary depth. Loosen
the lever (
D, Fig.6) and using the handle (A, Fig.6) , position the
blade in the wanted height and tighten the lever .
