C. MEASUREMENTS

1. Circuit Power Check

The indicator shall indicate 220 V when the positive and negative
probes (the pole is irrelevant) in the AC voltage range of the
multimeter (while Range: Auto or Range: 100) are contacted with
the pins connected to the power cord of the terminal while power
is supplied to the product.

2. Short Circuit Test for the Power Cord

Switch the multimeter to the short circuit test mode. Contact one
of  the  probes  (the  pole  is  irrelevant)  to  the  probe  of  the  male
socket  and  the  other  one  to  the  cord  terminal.  A  continuous
audible  signal  shall  be  issued  from  the  multimeter  and  a  fixed
value  shall  be  displayed  on  the  screen  in  this  condition.
Otherwise, the cord is damaged.

3. Short Circuit Test for the Switch Cord

Short Circuit Test for the Switch Lamp Cord

Switch the multimeter to the short circuit test mode. Contact one
of the probes (the pole is irrelevant) to the terminal of the brown
cord of the push button and the other one to the terminal of the
white cord. A continuous audible signal shall be issued from the
multimeter and a fixed value shall be displayed on the screen in
this condition. Otherwise, the cord is damaged
