Maintenance
Cleaning
•
Keep your machine clean at all times.
•
Always allow all water to drain from the pump before
storing.
Storage
•
Always store this machine in a dry place that will not fall
below 0˚C
Disposal
•
Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and
electronic equipment, with household waste.
•
Contact your local waste disposal authority for information
on the proper way to dispose of tools.
Unpacking And Assembling
Your Pressure Washer
•
If any parts are damaged or missing, have these parts
repaired or replaced before assembling or using this
product.
•
Do not connect the pressure washer to the water, or
electrical supply until fully assembled and ready for use.
•
Remove all packaging materials from the product.
Lance Assembly:
•
Attach lance (2) to handle (6) by screwing together. Tighten
firmly by hand.
•
Attach small end of high pressure hose (10) to brass
threads on handle (6) as shown in the diagram. Tighten
with a 17mm spanner.
•
Uncoil the rest of the high pressure hose (10)
•
Screw the large end of the high pressure hose (10) on to
the high pressure outlet (9) and tighten by hand.
Water Supply
•
Ensure the water supply is turned off.
•
Pull back the coloured sleeve on the hose connector (3)
and pull out the threaded part.
•
Screw the black plastic threaded part on to the water inlet
(4) and tighten by hand.
•
Connect the remaining part of the hose connector (3) to
your hose. Loosen the outer ring, push your hose in to the
centre, then tighten the outer ring. Check the connection by
tugging on the hose.
• Now reconnect the two parts of the hose connector (3)
pushing on to the water inlet and black plastic part. You will
hear a click when the two parts connect.
•
Again, tug on the hose to check the connection.
Operating The Pressure
Washer
• Now that your machine is correctly assembled, check that
the switch (5) is set to “O” – Off position.
•
Turn on your water supply.
•
Check the water supply connections, and make sure there
are no leaks. Fix any leaks before proceeding.
•
Untie the mains lead and fully extend. Plug in to an
appropriate mains supply.
•
Switch on by changing switch (5) to “I”
• Hold the assembled lance (2 & 6) firmly with both hands.
•
Point away from any person or object.
•
Push the safety button (8) in.
•
Squeeze the trigger (7) fully in.
• NOTE:
On first use the water will not flow evenly. There will
be air in the hose and pipes which will release after a few
minutes use.
•
To stop the pressure washer, release the trigger (7)
•
When not in use, push the safety button (8) so that it
prevents the trigger (7) from moving.
•
The spray pattern can be adjusted by holding the lance (2)
and turning the nozzle (1)
Accessories
•
Use only approved accessories with this product. Use
of anything else could invalidate your Guarantee and be
dangerous.
•
The detergent bottle (12) can be attached in place of the
lance (2) by screwing together and tightening by hand.
