Scrape the surplus wax off the spatula

of the appliance immediately after use .

Wipe the spatula

as well as the rim of the appliance
immediately after use with a cloth moistened with a little baby oil .
This will allow you to remove any still-soft wax residue . Preferably
use an old cloth as wax residue is extremely difficult to remove
from textiles . If you do not have any baby oil in the house, you
can also use olive oil or some other edible oil for cleaning . Make
sure that no wax residue remains in the grooves

and the rim afterwards with a
paper cloth to remove any remaining oil .

If there is any wax left on the outside of the appliance, proceed
as follows:

Ensure that the appliance is unplugged but still warm .

Wipe the surface with a cloth moistened with a little oil .

Make sure that no wax residue remains in the grooves
