8) As soon as the eggs have reached the second firmness level, a beep will be
heard . To switch the appliance off, set the operating switch to the position
“
O
” . The integrated control lamp goes out .
9) Carefully remove the lid and the cooking insert by its handle from
the cooking bowl .
WARNING
Risk of scalding!
► The steam and condensation on the inside of the lid are hot . Avoid
contact with this steam or water!
10) After cooking, shock the eggs in the cooking insert in cold, flowing water
to allow the shells to be removed more easily and so the egg does not
continue cooking .
11) Pour any remaining water out of the cooking bowl down the drain .
Cleaning and maintenance
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
► Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power plug from the mains
power socket! Otherwise there is the risk of electric shock!
► Never open any parts of the housing . There are no serviceable parts
whatsoever inside . When the housing is open, there is the risk of receiving
a potentially fatal electrical shock .
Never immerse the appliance base in water or any other liquid! There
is a risk of fatal electric shock if residual liquids come into contact with
live components during operation .
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
► Allow the appliance to cool sufficiently before cleaning it . Risk of burns!
► When cleaning the measuring cup , be careful of the egg pick .
Risk of injury!
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use abrasive or caustic cleaning agents . These can attack the surface
and damage the appliance beyond repair .
Cleaning the appliance
1) First disconnect the power plug from the power socket .
2) Allow the appliance to cool down .
3) Then clean the cooking bowl and the surface of the appliance base
with a slightly damp cloth .
4) Always dry the appliance properly before using it again .
