Place the fabric just in front of the needles. If

necessary, first cut about 3 cm along the cutting line

with a pair of scissors. Lower the presser foot and

start sewing. The thread chain will be drawn inside

the seam automatically.

Please Note:

This technique cannot be used for

the 5-thread safety seam,the 4-thread safety

seam,the double chain stitch,the rolled hem,or

for sewing in the fabric.

At the end of a seam, sew a thread chain of 15 to 20

cm and pull the thread chain from backto front over

the thread chain cutter.
This will cut off the thread chain.

Thread cutter/ Checkspring for edging the thread chain/ Waste container

Attach the waste container to the front cover. The tray

will catch fabric scraps that are cut off.
