Depending on the composition of the cooking water , calcium depo-
sits are sometimes left on the pot. They can be removed easily with a
mild cleanser (for ex. Silit’s special cleanser) or by heating up vinegar
in the pot. Of course these deposits give no cause for complaint as
they result from the cooking water , i.e. are not the result of faulty
material or production.
•
Silit is not responsible for damage incurred as a result of not obser-
ving the above instructions for care. In this case the customer has no
right of recourse..
•
Do not place a hot glass object on a cold base. Avoid sudden cooling.
Do not rinse the glass lid with cold liquid.
•
Pots, pans and spatter shield with plastic handles should not be used in
the oven at temperatures exceeding 150 °C.
•
When using cookware on a gas stove one should make sure that the
flame does not reach beyond the base of the cookware, possibly dama-
ging handles.
•
Avoid sliding the cookware back and forth across glass ceramic coo-
king zones, since residue on the base of the cookware can scratch the
cooking zone. When using aluminum cookware, sliding the cookwa-
re back and forth can cause abrasion, the traces of which must be
removed immediately. If they are allowed to burn onto the cooking
zone repeatedly, it will become impossible to remove them.
