Processor and Heatsink Installation and Removal

007-5466-001

Gently lift the load lever to open the load plate.

Use your thumb and your index finger to hold the CPU at opposite sides.

Carefully lift the CPU straight out of the socket.

Note:

If you are removing the porcessor so that you can return the node board to SGI, install a

PnP cap in the socket.
