Cleaning and Maintenance
Fog machines are fantastic and fun to use with family and friends, however need a little bit of extra
care to ensure it continues to work properly. It is recommended to clean your Fog Machine in an
open, well ventilated area, such as a garage or under cover area with a power outlet.
NOTE:
When cleaning your Fog Machine, it is recommended to only use distilled water. Tap water
contains minerals that can leave deposits inside your machine that can build up and may damage
your Fog Machine.
1. Pour 500ml of distilled water into a jug.
2. Remove the tank lid and empty out any remaining fog liquid that may be left in the tank into a
sink. Make sure it is completely empty.
3. While the Fog Machine is cool and not connected to the power outlet, unscrew the spray nozzle
at the front of the Fog Machine and clean out any debris with a pipe cleaner dipped in the
distilled water. Dry the spray nozzle thoroughly and reattach it to the Fog Machine.
4. Carefully pour the distilled water into the tank. Replace the fog liquid tank cap making sure not to
pinch the tube connected through the tank lid when screwing on the lid.
NOTE:
It is recommended to use a funnel when pouring the distilled water into the tank. This will help
prevent any liquid spilling onto or into the Fog Machine.
WARNING:
Be careful when filling the tank. If you spill any liquid on to the Fog Machine, make sure
to wipe it dry before using the Fog Machine.
5. Connect the power cord to a power outlet and switch on. The Fog Machine will now begin to heat up.
6. Once the Fog Machine has reached operating temperature, the indicator light on the controller
will illuminate (red).
7. Switch ON the Fog Machine on the controller and the Fog Machine will start to emit fog.
8. Once the Fog Machine has emitted all liquid, switch the Fog Machine OFF on the controller. Then
switch off and unplug from the power outlet.
9. Allow the Fog Machine to air dry completely.
NOTE:
You do not need to clean your Fog Machine after every use. Cleaning the Fog Machine too
often can cause it to stop working.
