Setting camera date and time
You can set the camera date and time to match the date and time on your computer system. First confirm
that the date and time on your computer is correct. See your computer’s documentation for instructions. To
set the camera’s date and time, connect the camera to your computer and verify that the camera is turned on.
From the Main Window menu select:
Camera > Set Camera Date and Time
Click OK to set the date and time. Click cancel to cancel the operation and leave the camera date and time
unchanged.
Battery warnings
Loss of battery power is instant, so it is always recommended to connect the camera to AC power when
connecting your camera to your computer to avoid any loss of data. As a reminder, when the camera is
connected to the computer using battery power, the battery icon will flash red repeatedly periodically. This
is only an indication that battery power is being used, and not an indication that the camera batteries are
low in power. Loss of digital battery power can be instant or gradual.
