LOADING THE BATTERY
A lithium-ion battery, BP-41, is provided with the DP3 Merrill
camera. Charge the battery before using the camera for the first
time. Charge the battery by the supplied battery charger, BC-41,
when the battery is empty.

Either the “Plug-in type” or “Inlet type” of Battery Charger is supplied
depending on the region of your purchase.
TO CHARGE THE BATTERY

Attach the battery by sliding it in the
direction of the arrow, as shown in the
diagram.

Plug-in type
Pull the plug down until it clicks, as
shown in the diagram and then insert it
into the wall outlet.
Inlet type
Connect the power cable to the charger
and insert the plug into the wall outlet.
