Test Connection Diagram
Test Procedures
1.
Synchronize the SSG3000X and signal analyzer. Connect the RF output terminal of the
SSG3000X with the RF input terminal of the signal analyzer.
2.
Configure the SSG3000X:
a.
Set the output frequency follow the table 2-8
b.
Set the output level of the SSG3000X to 13dBm
3.
Configure the signal analyzer:
a.
Preset.
b.
Set the input attenuation to auto.
c.
Set the reference level to the SSG3000X power plus 2.
d.
Switch the preamp to off.
e.
Set the center frequency to the SSG3000X frequency.
f.
Set the span to 5 kHz.
g.
Set the resolution bandwidth to 100 Hz.
h.
Press
Peak
and get the power result as P0.
i.
Set the center frequency to the SSG3000X frequency
×
2.
j.
Repeat steps f and g.
k.
Press
Peak
and get the power result as P1.
l.
Record the P0-P1.
4.
The P0-P1
is the
Second Harmonic Distortion
. And compare the measurement
result with the specification.
