“A” è dotata di un sistema
di apertura/chiusura automatico dell’aletta della te-
stata. Il comando di apertura/chiusura viene dato dal
termostato ambiente collocato all’interno della testa-
ta. L’elemento sensibile (bulbo del termostato) è col-
locato nella zona inferiore del mantello
di copertura.
Per la versione
Thermo
fon
®
“R” , il
termostato è di tipo remoto con collega-
mento standard all’apparecchio median-
te cavo di 3 m e connettori.
Il termostato comanda il sistema di aper-
tura e chiusura dell’aletta, azionato da un
motorino elettrico a c.c. alimentato da
pila Transistor da 9V (6LR61), che garanti-
sce nelle normali condizioni d’utilizzo una durata di
circa 3 stagioni annuali di riscaldamento La regolazio-
ne della temperatura avviene operando sulla mano-
pola della testata. Ruotare la manopola in senso orario
per aumentare la temperatura di set, in senso antiora-
rio per diminuirla.
Sierra consiglia l’utilizzo di batterie DURACELL Ultra.

“A” version is equipped with an au-
tomatic open/close shovel system. The open/close com-
mand comes from the air thermostat, assembled in the
cabinet. The sensible element (thermostat bulb) is in the
bottom of the cover.
The “R” version is equipped with a remote
thermostat (wall mounting) and the con-
nection to
Thermo
fon
®
is available
with a 3 m length cable and connectors.
The thermostat leads the open/close
system of the shovel with an electrical
c.c. motor fed with a 9V Transistor cell
(6LR61). This system ensures, in normal
working conditions, about 3 years lasting.
The temperature is adjusted by the handle.
Turning right the handle, to the right to increase the tem-
perature and to the left to decrease.
Sierra suggests DURACELL Ultra battery use.

1) Svitare le due viti autofi lettan-
ti di fi ssaggio del mantello allo
schienale (poste rispettivamen-
te a destra e a sinistra nella zona
inferiore di
Thermo
fon
®
).
2) Sganciare il mantello di co-
pertura dallo schienale, solle-
vandolo verticalmente per circa
3 cm, e sfi larlo dai perni di sup-
porto.
3) Inserire la batteria da 9V nel
connettore posto nel lato de-
stro (vista posteriore) sotto la
testata della macchina.
4) Riagganciate il mantello allo
schienale di supporto.

INSERTING/REPLACING THE OF 9V BATTERY
1) Remove the 2 screws that fi x the
cover to the rear frame of
Ther-
mo
fon
®
, located on the bottom
of the cabinet (one screw on the
left, the other on the right).
2) Uncouple the cabinet from the
rear frame, by raising it vertically
for approximately 3 cm, and remo-
ving it from the support hinges.
3) Insert the 9V battery into the
electrical connector situated on
the right side, under the air distri-
bution head.
4) Hitch the cabinet to the rear fra-
me.
