7.  Power Supply 

Two power supply sources are available on the Development Kit: 

 

DC external supply (via J600). 

 

AC/DC adapter (via J604). 

These power supplies are protected against electrostatic discharge and voltage or current transient 
surges.

Each of these power supplies are used for 

both

 the WMP150 and the peripherals on the WMP150 

Development Kit. 

It is possible to dissociate the power supply from the module 

(“VBATT”, measurable via the TP601) 

and from the peripherals (“VBAT”, measurable via the TP602).

Current measurement is possible between the VBATT and VBAT via J605 (refer to §25 for more 
information). 

7.1. 

LED Signalization (“VBAT”) 

“VBAT” indicator is a green LED. It indicates the presence of an external power supply. In other 
words, peripherals and the module are respectively powered via VBAT and VBATT.
