Echo Function
If no echo is displayed when entering an AT command, it could mean either of the following:
•
The "local echo" parameter of your communication software such as HyperTerminal, is
disabled.
•
The GL7x00 echo function is disabled.
To enable the GL7x00 echo function, enter
ATE1
.
When sending AT commands to the GL7x00 through a communication software such as
HyperTerminal, it is recommended to:
•
Disable the "local echo" parameter of your communication software
•
Enable the GL7x00 echo function (
ATE1
command)
In a machine-to-machine communication with the GL7x00, it is recommended to disable the GL7x00
echo function (
ATE0
command) to avoid useless CPU processing.
