Mounting Instructions:
Once a location for the cabinet has been selected, inspect the wall and
ensure that the wall or other mounting surface is uniform, flat, and
structurally stable, and has a structural load capacity that will support the
cabinet and the maximum weight load rating.
For wall types with only studs and sheetrock, install ¾” plywood, ensure
that the mounting surface extends beyond the top, bottom, left, and right
edges of the rear of the cabinet.
The back plate frame must be mounted flush against the surface of the wall and
secured to the wall.
The installer must provide the appropriate hardware.
Use minimum 5/16” x 3” (8 x 76.2mm) hardware fasteners.
Install (2) fasteners through plywood into 2 x 4" wall studs, spaced 16" on center.
Install enclosure onto fasteners.
Install remaining (2) fasteners though plywood into studs.
Make sure all (4) fasteners are installed through plywood into wall studs.
Tighten all fasteners.
For other wall types, the installer must provide appropriate hardware. The wall
must be uniform, flat, structurally stable, and has a structural load capacity that
will support the cabinet and the maximum weight load rating. The surface must
