Precautions

Avoid installation at the highest point in the
system because air bubbles will be trapped in
the flowmeter.

Avoid installation at a point where there is a
free outlet after the flowmeter.
The flowmeter pipe section may be installed
in either a horizontal or vertical position.

To obtain

battery lifetime with the

Lithium Thionyl Chloride battery pack,
Siemens recommends installing the flowmeter
transmitter in an upright position.
