5.1 Line-side connection

SITOP PSU400M

Note
Together with the 6EP1566-3AA00 ballast device to limit the voltage rise, hot plug-in and hot

plug-out are permissible.
A filter is integrated in the ballast to improve the EMC of power supply PSU400M (only

applicable for product version 1).

Note
A short-circuit proof supply line must be provided at the input side.

The breaking capacity of the internal fuse at input "+" and "-" is 20 kA; L/R < 2 ms.
The protective conductor of the line supply must be connected at the PE terminal. The cross-

section of the protective conductor cable must be the same as the supply cable.

NOTICE

Country-specific regulations must be observed when installing.

When installed in wind power plants, the device should only be operated in LPZ2, in

accordance with IEC 61400-24.
