Change Administrator password

The following rules must be followed when changing password:
• The length of password must be more than 8.
• Make sure the entered password is the same between "New password" and "Confirm new
password".
• Make sure the entered password is different between "Actual password" and "New password"
Although there is not strict limitation of password, Siemens strongly recommends that when
setting up a new password, keep password complexity for your own security.
When setting webserver password externally, i.e., via STARTER, avoid using non-standard
keyboard characters such as "ä","
￥
". Since these characters are not available in HMI App soft
keyboard, users may not be able to login via operator panel afterwards.
