Functional description
The SIMATRIX NEO V2 video matrix allows CCTV systems with video inputs and
outputs to be constructed in a compact, modular format.
The SIMATRIX NEO V2 switches video signals arriving at the video inputs in any
user-defined combination to video monitors, image memories, video printers, etc.,
which are connected to the video outputs. It is possible to dial into the SIMATRIX
NEO V2 manually from up to 11 operating stations (a maximum of 8 keyboards
and 3 IVM operating stations). Dialling in is also prompted by alarm signals from
external contacts or the TELEMAT.

The ability to freely program parameters, i.e. user-defined combinations of basic
operating software functions, means that the SIMATRIX NEO V2 video matrix can
be tailored to suit different system configurations.
In addition to the basic functionality of image switching, the device is also able to
remotely operate cameras with pan/tilt and lens drives and select camera position
settings.
Date and time overlay, camera identification label overlay and the ability to
program automatic image sequences are also possible.
Other essential features are the unit's ability to process incoming alarm signals
(detection groups, TELEMAT) by transferring the image from the alarm camera to
