Installing modules on the profile rail

Prerequisite

•

  Your S7-300 PLC is fully configured.

•

  The profile rail is installed.

Order of the modules

Snap the modules onto the profile rail, starting at the left and in the following order:

1.  Power supply module

2. CPU

3.  signal modules, function modules, communication modules, interface modules

Note
If you install SM 331 analog input modules, please check before installation
whether you have to reposition the measuring range submodules at the side of
the module. See Chapter 4 on analog modules in the Module specifications
Reference Manual.
