Description
Op-
tions
Options for the request.
•
b001 = read request
Response is requested according to CMD-RES-DELAY
•
b010 = read request
Response is queried according to CMD-RES-DELAY = write request with option "0"
The reader attempts to obtain the response after CMD-RES-DELAY + a multiple of 302 ms. If
there is no response after 20 ms, the command returns the status "no transponder" 0x01.
•
b011 = write request with option "1"
The reader attempts to obtain the response after CMD-RES-DELAY. If there is no response,
the reader sends an EOF after EOF-PULSE-DELAY and attempts to obtain the response after
CMD-RES_DELAY.
•
b100 = inventory request
The reader attempts to obtain the response after CMD-RES-DELAY. If the ISO 15693 flag
"Nb_slot_flag" is in the state:
•
"0" the reader sends an EOF after EOF-PULSE-DELAY and attempts to obtain
the response in the next time slot (after CMD-RES_DELAY). This occurs 16
times.
In this case, RSP-LENGTH defines the response length in one time slot. Tran-
sponder responses with other response lengths are ignored. If a CRC error oc-
curs in one of the time slots, the protocol status is set to 0x02 [CRC error]. The
user should calculate which transponder data contains the CRC error.
•
"1" the reader returns the received data.
•
b101 = request with grid position of the response
The reader attempts to obtain the response after ISO15693-3 CMD-RES-DELAY. If there is
no response, the reader queries with the time grid specified in MULTIPLE 302us GRIDS. If
there is no response, the command returns the status "no transponder" 0x01. The maximum
value for MULTIPLE 302us GRIDS is 125 (at 302.08 us × 125 = 37.76 ms).
Depending on the error flag in the transponder response, the length of the query data is
•
4 bytes, if the error flag is "1"
•
REP-LENGTH, if the error flag is "0"
